    A full time position is open at SLUCare Ob/Gyn. No weekends, call, or holidays.
    Great benefits including retirement, medical, dental, vision, and SLU tuition reimbursement.
    We are a close knit group of 3, looking to replace our 4th sonographer.
    Located near St. Mary's Health Center. We work with all specialties of ob/gyn including MFM. Type of exams performed include: viability, growth, anatomic survey, fetal echo, BPP's, fetal Dopplers, cervical lengths, nuchal translucency, gyn, follicle studies, and sonohysterogram.
    RDMS in Ob/gyn required, experience preferred. NT certification preferred, but will train. Fetal echo experience a plus.

    Job Description

    Heartland Women's Healthcare is GROWING and looking to add a member to our team of ultrasound techs! The ultrasound tech would ensure the delivery of quality care for obstetrical and gynecological patients. The ultrasound Sonographer performs procedures according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician or their designated healthcare provider. The Sonographer provides information to the patient about the purpose of the ultrasound procedure and responds to the patient's questions and concerns.

    Exams/procedures performed by our ultrasound techs include:
    Growth as well as biophysical exams
    Dopplers and cx lengths
    GYN scans including saline infused sonohystograms
    Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or Sonography required. Current ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialty required. Previous OB/GYN ultrasound experience strongly preferred.

    Position is Part time. Every Monday and Tuesday. 16 hours/week. Plus availability to help cover vacation time and sick days.
    The Sonographer must be able to perform quality exams independently, including but not limited to: GYN, Sonohystogram, Hysterosalpingogram, Follicle Studies, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB, including High Risk.
    No Call, weekends, or holidays.
